Ed Friedman

Edward Friedman has practiced real estate and business law in California for nearly five decades and brings a seasoned, practical approach to every matter he handles. Before joining Quantum Law Group, he served for many years as Managing Partner of Turner, Friedman & Morris, LLP, a Beverly Hills firm focused on business, real estate, and civil litigation. His experience leading a multi-disciplinary practice continues to inform his work today and allows clients to rely on him for clear guidance in transactions that often involve significant financial and operational considerations.

Mr. Friedman’s practice centers on the full spectrum of real estate and business transactions. He counsels clients on property acquisitions and development, negotiation and preparation of construction and permanent financing, commercial leasing, investment structuring, and the closing of complex real estate deals. His clients include real estate developers and investors, commercial landlords and tenants, contractors, lenders, and brokers. Over the course of his career, he has handled transactions totaling more than one billion dollars in combined debt and equity financing, giving him a grounded understanding of how to protect client interests in high-value matters.

In addition to his legal work, Mr. Friedman is an active participant in civic and neighborhood leadership throughout Los Angeles. He serves on the boards of the P.I.C.O. Neighborhood Council and the South Carthay Neighborhood Association and chairs the Carthay Historic Preservation Overlay Zone Board. He has also served on boards of nonprofit organizations focused on health care and the arts, reflecting a long commitment to community engagement.

Mr. Friedman earned his J.D. from Loyola Law School and his B.A. in Government from Pomona College.
